FINAL WEEKEND!!! Come for the first time, or come play one last time!!!

Oct 30-31 Potter at work! Scarecrow cookie craft! FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT: VeggieTale’s “Moe & the Big Exit” – refreshments available – Bring your lawn chairs and blankets-showtime @7:00 pm!

NEW THIS YEAR – The Destruction Zone!!! Come and experience Thor’s Hammer and The Pumpkin-Pult. These two attractions are smashing and hurling all sorts of gourds to the delight of the visitors. At the Build-N-Blast, build your own creation, and then try your hand at blasting it to the ground with our slingshots, or have a blasting contest with a friend! Prices vary depending on the activity.

The Pumpkin Play offers a variety of free games for the family. Stay and play until the sun goes down!

The pumpkin train is a favorite for all ages at Grammy’s. This barrel train will take its passengers on a tour of Grammy’s. The ride makes its way through tunnels and fields, eventually reaching the pumpkin patch. Here each rider gets to cut his or her own We-Be-Little pumpkin. Then hold on because the train will be taking its passengers back to the Depot.

Throughout the day, Grammy will be inviting children to a free story time. They will be led in songs, poems, and stories about autumn time.

Crafts will also be offered throughout the day. Each week will feature a different craft, so come back often! The cost per craft will vary.

The Pumpkin Patch

Grammy’s Pumpkin Patch is planted in June with a variety of seeds. Each year new varieties are being offered, so the patch is never the same twice! This year the patch contains approximately six kinds of pumpkins. The size of pumpkins range from Wee-Be-Littles to Howden Biggies with all sizes in between. One of the featured varieties this year is the Long Island Cheese, a white gourd that is sure to add to autumn arrangements. There are also decorative gourds of all kinds ripe for picking. For those pie makers, New England Pumpkin Pie pumpkins should do the trick.

This year the patch was planted by a state of the art pumpkin seed planter. The planter was designed and created specifically for Grammy’s. Other maintenance and weeding are still done the old fashioned way–by Grammy and her staff.
